Adam Pearce Confirms Huge #1 Contender’s Match For WWE Raw

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has revealed that a major match will take place with serious implications for one WWE champion.

There is no rest for the wicked when it comes to champions in WWE, as there is no end to other stars looking to take a title for themselves. Dominik Mysterio recently escaped with his Intercontinental Title when he had to take on the mighty Rusev. And it looks like the Bulgarian Brute could come calling once again for Dirty Dom.

Taking to social media, Adam Pearce gave some updates for the 27th of October show and revealed that a number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship would take place when Rusev faces Penta.

What Else Does Adam Pearce Have Planned For WWE Raw?

Pearce also revealed that Jey Uso and CM Punk would come face-to-face ahead of their huge match at Saturday Night’s Main Event to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion.

Seth Rollins was forced to vacate that title due to a serious shoulder injury believed to have been suffered during his Crown Jewel match with Cody Rhodes. Rollins was subsequently betrayed by The Vision in a move that wrote Rollins off TV for the foreseeable future.

Raw will also see a battle of generations take place as Roxanne Perez clashes one-on-one with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
