Adam Pearce Makes 4 Major Announcements For WWE Raw
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has dropped four blockbuster announcements for the December 8th edition of WWE’s flagship show.
NXT took centre stage at the weekend as Deadline was packed full of twists and turns. Oba Femi reclaimed the NXT Championship and with it the right to face WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The show ended with the shock return of Tony D’Angelo, who had been missing for months. D’Angelo flattened men’s Iron Survivor Challenge winner Je’Von Evans, staring down Oba Femi as Deadline went off the air.
Huge Title Match Made For WWE Raw
Taking to social media, Adam Pearce has now turned fans’ attention back to Raw as he delivered four huge announcements for the show due to take place in Kansas City.
Pearce revealed that John Cena’s final opponent, Gunther, would be live on the show just five days before he writes his own name in history at Saturday Night’s Main Event. As well as The Ring General, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is also scheduled to be on the show with Pearce teasing that fans will find out what’s next for her after seeing off the challenge of Nikki Bella at Survivor Series.
An NXT rivalry will also be reignited on the show in a battle between two former NXT Women’s Champions. Lyra Valkyria will take on The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez.
Finally, Pearce confirmed that AJ Styles and Dragon Lee would be putting their World Tag Team Championship on the line against the War Raiders.
