Adam Page Nearly Got Detained At Border Going To AEW Dynamite
An interesting story has been shared by “Hangman” Adam Page about how he nearly got detained on his way to AEW Dynamite this week.
On this week’s February 15th edition of AEW Dynamite in Laredo, Texas, former AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Kip Sabian handily in about six minutes.
Following his match, Page got into a verbal exchange with his rival Jon Moxley yet again with Hangman wanting one more match against Moxley. While Hangman had some support from his Dark Order buddies during the promo, Moxley and Page agreed to a Texas Death Match at Revolution on Sunday, March 5th.
During a Highspots signing the following day, Adam Page revealed that he nearly didn’t make it to Dynamite because he was almost detained at the US/Mexico border.
“I almost got detained at the border last night too. I might’ve ended up in Mexico by accident. I still don’t know but I had to go through a border crossing check and someone in the car, who is not an American citizen, didn’t have their passport.”
“I flew into San Antonio and then drove two and a half hours to Laredo because Laredo would have been three flights and that’s just too many. It’s one too many at least.”
As he continued, “Hangman” Adam Page was dumbfounded as to how he went through a border crossing without actually crossing a border.
“It doesn’t make sense, I don’t know. You tell me, you’re from Laredo, you tell me how I went through a border crossing without crossing a border, I don’t know but we did, we almost got detained, but I’m here. I’m not in prison in America or Mexico, I’m doing well.”
