Adam Page Breaks Silence After Blood-Drinking AEW Full Gear Chaos

Adam Page makes entrance

Hangman Adam Page has commented on the most divisive moment of AEW Full Gear.

Going into the event, Swerve Strickland had made his rivalry with Page deeply personal by invading his home and entering the bedroom of his infant son. This set the scene for one of the most violent bouts in recent memory as the pair fought in a Texas Death Match.

The bout saw Page attacking Swerve with everything from a staple gun to barbed wire steel chairs and a barbed wire board. Strickland was busted open early in the match and continued to bleed throughout, but was able to come back and take the fight to Page with equal brutality.

Swerve also received assistance from Prince Nana and Brian Cage. Although Page was able to take both men out of the equation, the distraction gave Swerve time to recover enough to attack him with a cinderblock and choke him out with a chain for the victory.

One grotesque moment that has divided fans saw Page lying underneath Swerve and drinking the blood dripping from his foe’s head, before spitting it into the air. Despite his defeat, Page has used the visual on social media to send a message to Strickland, telling him that he is “with me forever.”

Swerve Strickland Warns Hangman Adam Page Off Possible Rematch

Following Full Gear, Swerve Strickland sent a message to Adam Page, telling him that he “owns him” after his victory. He also warned him not to seek a rematch, claiming next time Page would be “dead.”

“After this bulls**t, I own AEW. Everybody in that locker room better f**king fear me. That’s Goddamn right. I’m just getting started in this. Whose house? This is Swerve’s house. No, this is Swerve’s dungeon, and I’m hanging everybody like the executioner that I am. Believe that. Hangman, we better be done because the next time you step into the ring with me, you’re dead.”
