Adam Copeland Changes Name In AEW
Adam Copeland made his huge return to AEW at Worlds End and now as he gets back in the ring, it seems he has a whole new name.
Jon Moxley retained his AEW World Championship in a wild four-way match at Worlds End but he did not end his night on top. With the Death Riders looking to make their mark in cruel and unusual ways after the bout, they were stopped by the emergence of FTR but Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler had not come alone. The ‘FTR’ logo on the screen was soon replaced by ‘Rated FTR’ signalling the return of Adam Copeland.
Adam Copeland laid out Jon Moxley and locked him in a crossface with the help of a chunk of chair shoved in the AEW World Champion’s mouth.
Adam Copeland Now Known By 4-Letter Name
On Dynamite Fight For The Fallen, Adam Copeland was back in the ring competing for the first time since breaking his leg at Double Or Nothing as he teamed with FTR to face Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta. However, there was a big change in regards to the WWE Hall of Famer.
Fans had to get used to calling the man they’d known for decades as Edge by his real name when he joined AEW and now he’s shortened his moniker to simply Cope. Justin Roberts announced him as ‘The Rated R Superstar, Cope’ and it seems that will be his official name in AEW moving forward.
Cope will not let Moxley get away!
