Adam Cole’s AEW In-Ring Return Confirmed
Adam Cole is finally getting back in the ring.
After more than a year out of action, Adam Cole will lace up his boots again on a special Fright Night Dynamite on October 30th. Following a confrontation backstage, it’s been announced that Cole will wrestle Buddy Matthews on the show.
The star hasn’t wrestled since teaming with MJF at All Out in early September 2023. Just a few short weeks later, Cole suffered a broken ankle at Grand Slam as he tried to help MJF retain the AEW World Championship.
During a recent interview, Adam Cole revealed he had to have a cadaver bone inserted into his ankle because his bone had “disintegrated.”
When Will Adam Cole Get His Hands On MJF?
Elsewhere on Dynamite, Adam Cole united with the Undisputed Kingdom with both he and Roderick Strong admitting they want to get at MJF. However, the pair will have to work hard to get their wish.
During the segment, MJF appeared via a video call and informed the world he wouldn’t be back until Full Gear. At the event, he’ll face either Cole or Strong — whoever picks up three wins first.
MJF hasn’t wrestled since beating Daniel Garcia at All Out on September 7th.
