Adam Cole Responds To Picture Of Remarkable NFL Lookalike
At the time of this writing on November 13, 2022, it’s been four months since All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Adam Cole has been in the squared circle. But there’s a silver lining to his time off: He may have found the National Football League (NFL) version of himself.
Last wrestling at AEW Forbidden Door, Cole contested for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in a bout that also featured Jay White, Hangman Page and Kazuchika Okada.
However, Adam Cole has decided to take time away from professional wrestling to pursue a career in the National Football League, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, at least to fans’ original speculation. Believe it or not, many fans thought Adam Cole was playing in the NFL, mistaking wide receiver Trenton Irwin for the wrestler during a recent game.

The Cincinnati Bengals would go on to win that game against the Carolina Panthers, 42-21.
With Adam Cole’s injury, there hasn’t been any update on his future, with Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez even reporting there’s not been any new information regarding a health update on Cole.
