Adam Cole Has Plans For AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring

Adam Cole AEW

Adam Cole knows what he wants to do if he gains possession of the coveted AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring.

The AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring is a reward that was introduced in AEW’s first year in 2019. The idea behind this is that somebody has to win a battle royal to compete for the ring and then they would gain possession of the ring for a full year.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman aka MJF has won the match to keep the Dynamite Diamond Ring every year since it started in 2019. In the early years of his AEW career, MJF used the Dynamite Diamond Ring as a weapon to win matches.

At AEW Worlds End on December 28th, Adam Cole will compete against MJF for the possession of the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Cole finished in the final two in a battle royal, then he beat Kyle O’Reilly for the right to face MJF and now the match is set for Worlds End.

In a recent interview with the Going Ringside podcast, Adam Cole said he wasn’t bothered by MJF’s recent comments about Cole breaking up with fellow AEW wrestler Britt Baker because he knows it is just something that MJF loves to do.

“If this was maybe a year ago, I think it would’ve gotten under my skin. But like I said, I’ve gotten to know MJF over the years, I know exactly what he’s doing.

When you know that you’re trying to be manipulated, it’s easier to avoid being manipulated and Max was doing everything in his power, like I said, to get under my skin and I wasn’t going to let it happen to the point where I’m saving a lot of energy for when we do get to World’s End and I can punch him in the mouth for a lot of the things that he said.”

What Will Adam Cole Do If He Wins The Dynamite Diamond Ring?

While MJF has used the Dynamite Diamond Ring as a weapon for several years, it doesn’t like Cole has the same plans for the ring if he manages to win it.

“I would actually love to get my hands on it so the rest of the world never has to see it again.”
