Adam Cole Announces AEW In-Ring Return
It was a night of big announcements on AEW Dynamite and Adam Cole was among them as he revealed when he will return to the ring.
Cole last competed in an AEW ring back in June 2022 when he competed in a four-way match at Forbidden Door for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Adam Page, Kazuchika Okada, and Jay White. That match came one month after Cole suffered an injury during his Double Or Nothing bout with Samoa Joe, and further concussion issues from the Forbidden Door bout led to the lengthy layoff.
On the 11th of January edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole returned to television but until now, it was unknown when he’d be able to compete again. However, on Dynamite in Phoenix, everyone got their answer.
Adam Cole revealed that he will be competing again on the 1st of March edition of Dynamite against an as yet unnamed opponent.
It was a big night for announcements on Dynamite with Cole also giving Tony Khan’s previously touted “important announcement” that a new docu-series named AEW: All Access will be premiering in March. The series will follow the stars of the company and give an insight into the backstage machinations in AEW.
