An actress who was involved in a memorable TNA storyline passed away recently.

PWInsider has reported that an actress named Julia Reilly passed away in early April. Reilly was known as a short-lived TNA character named Claire Lynch.

Reilly passed away on April 2nd after missing a scheduled event. Her death, according to MemorialDesk.com, was due to natural causes.

The Claire Lynch storyline took place in TNA in 2012 when Lynch claimed that she had an affair with former World Champion AJ Styles, and she said she was carrying his child. It was just a storyline where the heel characters Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian were trying to ruin AJ’s life. As the story continued, they said that she was a friend of former TNA President Dixie Carter, who was helping Lynch overcome a drug addiction.

That storyline involving Styles, Lynch, Carter, Daniels, and Kazarian is not remembered fondly and had some segments that most TNA fans likely want to forget. Reilly was never under contract with the company and was eventually written out of storylines.

TNA Fan Recognized Claire Lynch Away From The Ring

PWInsider also reported that Reilly had an incident with a fan when she played the cartoon character Olive Oil at the Universal Studios Orlando theme park when a fan recognized her from TNA television. Reilly refused to return to the promotion and was done at that point.

Reilly had a number of jobs in Orlando, including working as a corporate spokesperson and a virtual event moderator, among other roles.

TJRWrestling sends our condolences to Reilly’s family, friends, and fans.
