Active WWE Stars Will Be Mentors On LFG Season 3
There will be two active WWE superstars who will be in a coaching role on the third season of LFG.
The WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) show on A&E features legendary wrestlers serving as coaches/mentors to help up-and-coming talent.
Those up-and-coming wrestlers are already signed to WWE contracts, but they haven’t become regulars on the NXT brand yet. Whoever wins the season will then move on to earn NXT contracts and become regulars on the WWE development brand.
PWInsider Elite’s Mike Johnson reports that former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and former Women’s Champion Natalya have joined the cast of WWE LFG Season 3 as mentors.
Kevin Owens had major neck surgery in July and hasn’t wrestled since March. Owens will likely be out until past WrestleMania 2026, but it’s not known for sure when he may return to the ring. Owens was seen running a WWE ring in November, so he is progressing well.
WWE Planning On Changes For LFG Season 3
The third season is currently filming and will feature some changes, including more guest stars to freshen up the competition series.
Booker T and Bully Ray will return as coaches, just as they were in the first two seasons. The Undertaker was a coach in the first two seasons, but apparently won’t be back. His wife, WWE Hall of Famer Michelle McCool, also isn’t going to return after being a coach in season two.
On the show, the coaches draft the wrestlers for their teams and then mentor them. There are wrestlers who win the show, and coaches who win if their team does the best.
Season one: Tyra Mae Steele & Jasper Troy
Season two: Shiloh Hill & Dani Sekelsky (Skylar Raye)
Jasper Troy is the current WWE Speed Champion, while Shiloh Hill won his debut match on NXT TV this past Tuesday.
It’s not known yet when Season 3 of WWE LFG will return to A&E, but we will have more information on that when it becomes available.
