Major Accusation Against WWE Legend Batista: “It Almost Killed Me”
WWE legend Batista accused of having lethal bad breath.
Rene Dupree’s co-host on the Cafe de Rene podcast delivered a memorable anecdote about meeting The Animal once during his Ohio Valley Wrestling days.
The encounter occurred in Memphis amid group drug testing for WWE talent from various territories.
Batista Called Out For Having Bad Breath
The co-host recalled shaking the Hollywood star’s hand but nearly passing out from the wrestler’s foul breath, describing it as “the worst” he’d experienced.
He stated that Batista’s bad breath “almost killed” him, noting the odor hit so hard during their brief introduction.
“When I first met Batista, well, the only time I met him. It was in Memphis they were doing the drug testing.
They brought the guys from other parts so we could all get drug tested together. I shook his hand and met him, but I almost passed out from his breath.
He had the worst breath. I mean, it almost killed me.”
Batista has not publicly addressed the story, which resurfaced from an older podcast episode and quickly spread across wrestling news outlets.
Batista forged a legendary WWE career as a six-time world champion, highlighted by Royal Rumble wins in 2005 and 2014, plus iconic feuds with Cena, Triple H, Undertaker, and many more.
His first exit came in June 2010 after an “I Quit” loss to Cena, driven by creative frustrations and Hollywood ambitions.
He returned to WWE in 2014 as a part-timer, but he left again that June over booking issues, then retired fully post-WrestleMania 35 loss to Triple H in 2019 to pursue acting.
