Absent WWE Star’s SmackDown Return Scrapped

Karrion Kross remains missing from WWE television after the company scrapped his return to SmackDown.

Although Karrion Kross has remained active on WWE live shows in recent months, the star has not competed on television since the 11th of August 2023 edition of SmackDown when he lost to AJ Styles.

Karrion Kross only returned to WWE in August 2022, less than a year after he and his now-wife Scarlett had both been released by the company. Although Kross and Scarlett seemed to send a message to Roman Reigns with their return, Kross has been nowhere near challenging the unbeatable WWE Universal Champion during his second spell in the company.

Karrion Kross WWE SmackDown Comeback Not Even Filmed

Fightful Select has now reported that Karrion Kross was meant to be back on WWE television on the 3rd of November edition of SmackDown but that did not play out.

Kross was said to be planned for a backstage segment that would also feature Scarlett and Shotzi but WWE sources noted that the segment would not have made any sense for the three stars involved and was scrapped early in the day and therefore wasn’t even filmed.

There is no other update on creative plans for Karrion Kross at this time but those in WWE are said to be happy with Scarlett and Shotzi for their hosting of NXT Halloween Havoc and their web show, Chamber of Horrors. For fans of Karrion Kross, the wait goes on.
