Absent WWE Star Getting Close To Return

WWE Logo over Roster

A long-time absent WWE star is closing on a return to action.

After missing three months of action, Raquel Rodriguez returned to Raw on February 19th to earn a spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Although she was unsuccessful inside the chamber, Rodriguez picked up a quick win on the following episode of Raw before disappearing from television.

Earlier in 2024, the star revealed she had been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). Meanwhile, after Elimination Chamber, Raquel Rodriguez revealed she almost missed the event after her condition flared up. The issue meant she was unable to properly prepare for the match and was forced to sit out a run-through.

In the weeks after her most recent match, it was reported that Rodriguez had been removed from the active roster, but no reason was given.

Raquel Rodriguez Closing On WWE Return

Fast forward to July 2024 and it’s been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that there’s been “internal talk” about Rodriguez returning “in the near future.”

It’s perhaps interesting to note that the former NXT Women’s Champion has history with both Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan who are due to battle over the Women’s World Title at SummerSlam.
