Absent WWE Star Backstage At Raw
A wrestler who was storyline injured is set to make his return on Monday Night Raw in Germany.
LA Knight was attacked on the December 8th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, and he hasn’t been seen on television since then.
During that episode of Raw, Knight wrestled The Vision’s Logan Paul in the main event. The masked man, who was revealed to be Austin Theory, attacked Knight during the match and helped Paul get the win.
After the match, LA Knight refused medical help even though the masked man gave him The Stomp on the commentary table and Logan Paul hit a Frog Splash to win the match. Seeing Knight refusing help, Paul and Bronson Reed headed backstage and viciously attacked him by first putting him through a table. The attack continued as Reed hit a Tsunami while Knight was on top of a car.
That attack by Reed on Knight was meant to set up an injury angle, writing Knight out of storylines for a month for a well-deserved break.
LA Knight Likely Returning on WWE Monday Night Raw in Germany
It was reported previously that the former US Champion, Knight, was on his way to Düsseldorf, Germany, for the January 12th episode of Raw.
In an update, Fightful Select confirmed that Knight was scheduled to be backstage on today’s episode of Raw. While Fightful couldn’t confirm if Knight would appear on Raw, it’s unlikely that the company would fly him all the way to Germany and not use him.
While many fans may be frustrated by Knight not winning a major WWE or World Title yet, he is going to remain in WWE long term since he signed a lucrative contract extension in the summer of 2025 that lasts several more years.
