Absent WWE Star Patiently Waiting To Return
A WWE superstar who hasn’t had a televised match in over one year is “patiently” waiting to return.
Omos has been part of the WWE roster since he signed a developmental deal in January 2019. As a legitimate giant who stands at 7’3″ and 400 pounds, Omos stands out above everybody else.
Even though Omos is unlikely anybody else in the company, he has barely been used by WWE in the last few years. The most he was used was in 2021 when he had a Tag Team Title reign with AJ Styles that lasted 132 days.
The last time Omos was in a televised match was the 2024 Andre The Giant Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. Before that, his last televised match was the 2024 Royal Rumble. Amazingly, Omos hasn’t had a single WWE match in over a full year.
Since the company barely used him, WWE sent Omos to the NOAH promotion in Japan in January 2025. While in NOAH, Omos won the GHC Tag Team Titles with Jack Morris, but they never defended them, and Omos said it was time to return to WWE.
How Does Omos Feel About WWE Not Using Him?
While speaking to Adam Wilbourn of WhatCulture, Omos said he was just waiting for WWE to use him again.
“I’m just waiting. I had fun in Japan and I’m just patiently waiting.
“To be honest, man, I’m just here to dominate. I’m just ready to come back and dominate in the ring again. There’s nothing that brings me more joy than being in the wrestling ring. So whenever that happens, I’m just ready and excited to get back in there.”
There are no updates about when WWE might use Omos again, but he sounds ready to go whenever an opportunity arises.
