Absent AEW Star “Working Hard To Get Back” From Injury
Kyle O’Reilly last competed inside an AEW ring back in June 2022 when he lost to Jon Moxley and now the star says he’s battling to get back to full fitness and back to the ring.
O’Reilly continued appearing on AEW television following his loss to Moxley for a few months alongside Bobby Fish and Adam Cole and was part of the trio turning their back on The Young Bucks and attacking them. That storyline was cut short however due to injuries suffered by Cole and O’Reilly which kept both men out of action for a considerable period while Fish ended up leaving the company.
Adam Cole has since made his return to AEW and is sure to have his sights firmly set on Chris Jericho after Cole and JAS member Daniel Garcia handcuffed him to the ring ropes which allowed The Outcasts led by Saraya to viciously attack his girlfriend, Britt Baker.
Kyle O’Reilly on the other hand is still out of action but took to social media to respond to Adam Cole who had some kind things to say about his partner:
“Thanks bro, I miss you too. My career is meaningless without you and I’m forever grateful to be your friend. Working hard to get back and fight alongside you again someday soon!”
