Absent AEW Star Nearing Return

A former AEW World Championship challenger is nearing his return to in-ring action.

The last time Jay White wrestled in an AEW match was in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Semifinals on the July 6th edition of AEW Collision when he lost to “Hangman” Adam Page.

Jay White was injured in that match because AEW quickly stripped the Bang Bang Gang (Jay Wyatt and The Gunns) of the AEW Trios Tag Team Titles that they were holding at the time.

There was a recent update on White claiming that he was healthy and likely going to return soon.

In another update from Fightful Select, it has been reported that White was at AEW television this past week and while he got checked on to see if he was healthy enough to return to the ring, it didn’t appear that White was ready to return to the ring. There was hope that his return would be imminent.

It was added by Fightful that White was considered to appear at the AEW All In PPV this Sunday, August 25th, but Fightful doesn’t know if he made the trip to London, England for the event. White was apparently discussed for the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In, but he wasn’t cleared during his most recent visit backstage although he was getting better.

The Bang Bang Gang Could Win Back AEW Trios Tag Team Titles At All In

At the AEW All In PPV, there’s a London Ladder Match for the AEW World Trios Championships held by The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne). Other teams in the match include the Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn), House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews), and a fourth team that will earn their spot on AEW Collision this Saturday.

That match was already taped, so you can check out AEW Collision spoilers here if interested.
