Adam Page and Jon Moxley are set to go to war for the AEW World Championship, but could a missing star really be the one to dethrone Moxley after all this time?

Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Title against Hangman Adam Page at All In Texas in a Texas Death match that has plenty of fans salivating at the prospect.

For the best part of a year, Jon Moxley has held the AEW World Title hostage in a briefcase with more than a little help from his loyal Death Riders. Many fans believe Page is the right man to finally end his reign of terror but it’s been suggested that a missing AEW star could yet be the one to finally defeat Moxley.

Darby Allin To Dethrone Jon Moxley As AEW World Champion?

Speaking on Not Sam Wrestling, WWE broadcaster Sam Roberts explained why he thinks having a Texas Death match between Moxley and Page isn’t the best idea unless Page isn’t going to win the AEW World Championship after all:

Best case scenario, Adam Page wins and you finally open the briefcase up, do you want Adam Page bleeding all over the place, holding up that title? I don’t think so. But maybe, Adam Page isn’t gonna win and that’s why it’s okay.

Maybe Darby Allin is coming back for All In. Maybe Darby Allin is the guy who’s finally gonna get that title away from Mox. Maybe Mox uses the death match rules in his favour and even with The Opps in Hangman’s corner, they’re just not enough and the Death Riders pull it off again.
