7-Time WWE Champion Turns Heel On RAW After 598 days

A shocking heel turn has taken place on WWE RAW.

Bayley has had a complicated relationship with Lyra Valkyria since her return from injury after WrestleMania 41. The Role Model even involved herself in Valkyria’s feud with Becky Lynch, accidentally costing the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion her title match against The Man at SummerSlam.

Since then, Valkyira has asked the former WWE Women’s Champion to stay away from her. Meanwhile, the latter showed signs of mental struggles and appeared conflicted in vignettes that aired on RAW over the past few weeks.

After being away from action for a few episodes, The Role Model returned last week to save Valkyria from The Judgment Day. She also teased the return of her hugger persona.

Bayley Turns on Lyra Valkyria on WWE RAW

Tonight on RAW, Bayley was announced for a match against The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez. Before the fight, The Role Model spoke with Lyra Valkyria backstage and asked her to be in her corner. A confused Valkyria reluctantly agreed.

During the match, Bayley’s character seemed to shift as she went off on Perez. The 36-year-old hit her opponent with a Bayley-to-Belly, then a big knee, before finishing her off with a Rose Plant for the victory.

Valkyria then entered the ring to celebrate with The Role Model and hugged her. However, the latter shockingly pushed her down. Bayley then started screaming at her stunned former tag team partner, calling her an “idiot” and telling her to “stay out of it” before storming out of the ring.

Bayley has seemingly turned heel for the first time in 598 days. The Role Model’s babyface turn came on February 2nd, 2024 when Damage CTRL turned on her.
