7-Time Champion Reportedly Back In WWE After 14 Years
A former Cruiserweight Champion might soon resurface upon the WWE shores.
Chavo Guerrero was last seen on programming during the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event as one of the attendees.
While Guerrero does not compete full-time, he has not necessarily called the curtains on his career either.
Nevertheless, fans may see him return to the Stamford-based company, largely due to its partnership with the Lucha Libre promotion.
According to Fightful Select sources, the seven-time champion told people that he has returned to the Stamford-based company in an official capacity.
Guerrero is one of the most celebrated in-ring performers, having competed in various promotions, such as WCW, TNA, AEW, and the independent circuits.
Other than being a Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo is also popular for capturing the tag team gold with his uncle Eddie Guerrero.
The pair formed the Los Guerreros, earning laurels for their ‘We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal’ gimmick.
Chavo Guerrero joining WWE is welcome news, considering its ongoing partnership with AAA.

Rey Mysterio On The Verge Of WWE Return
Another wrestling great who was seen at AAA Worlds Collide was Rey Mysterio.
The WWE Hall of Famer opened the show, paying respect to the Lucha Libre style of wrestling and the stars who have contributed to its popularity.
Recently, AAA booker and Mysterio’s former stablemate Konnan claimed that the former WWE Champion would make his return around August.
In April, he suffered a groin injury, resulting in him being pulled from his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match. It was also revealed that he was dealing with a busted eardrum.
