5-Time WWE Champion Doesn’t Rule Out AEW Move
A former champion in WWE won’t rule out a move to AEW despite their career taking a different direction recently.
The Hurt Syndicate are on the rise in AEW with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin dominating the tag team scene as the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions. Led by MVP, The Hurt Syndicate recently finally accepted MJF into the group, but it remains to be seen if the former AEW World Champion has discovered what loyalty means, given his track record.
One man very wary about MJF’s intentions is Cedric Alexander, who was previously part of the group when it was known as The Hurt Business in WWE. Alexander was let go by WWE and has admitted he regrets signing his last contract with the company, as he could have joined his former partners in AEW by now.
Such a reunion seemed to be off the table when Alexander recently made his debut in TNA. But the man himself won’t rule out a switch to AEW.
Cedric Alexander Open To Anything After WWE Exit
Speaking on Busted Open, Cedric Alexander explained why he’s happy people were speculating on his future and that nothing is off the table:
It’s good to get people talking [on rumours of him joining the Hurt Syndicate]. I’m glad people were wondering what can happen, cause that adds to the excitement of it all. Nothing is off the table, but right now I’m focused on me, focused on carving my own path, and being my own man, so to speak.
Cedric Alexander was part of a frightening moment at TNA Slammiversary when Mustafa Ali narrowly avoided complete disaster after a move went very wrong.
