48-Year-Old WWE Legend Confirms He’ll Never Wrestle Again
WWE legend says that his time in the spotlight is up.
Throughout WWE’s rich, storied history, it has been common for wrestlers to hang up their boots but later return for another run of matches or storylines. A few notable examples include Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Edge, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock.
But one WWE legend is certain he won’t return to the ring. That wrestler is John Cena.
Cena recently wrestled in his final WWE match versus Gunther and lost by tapping out to the latter’s sleeper hold. This moment ended a colourful 20+ year career for the WWE icon, who is certain that going back is simply not something he would do.

Speaking to The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes on his “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast, The Champ confirmed that he would never wrestle again.
Rhodes says to Cena, knowing him as he does, he wouldn’t return to the ring, to which Cena said
That is for sure
Cody continued that his friends all say that wrestlers never really retire. Cena continues his initial statement saying
Especially after the beauty of Saturday. I can’t top it.
Cena has been rumoured to take on a new role in the WWE but it remains to be seen what that would be exactly. For now, The Leader of the Cenation has rode into the sunset after his final hurrah.
