42-Year-Old WWE Legend Urged To Come Out Of Retirement
WWE has recently seen many wrestlers make a return to the promotion, with some of them coming out of their retirement as well.AJ Lee, Nikki Bella, Brock Lesnar, Aleister Black, and Rusev all returned to WWE this year, among others.
Nikki Bella returned to the company for seemingly having one final run in the company, and it has been amazing for the fans to see the wrestler back in the squared circle. The former Divas Champion recently turned heel and is set to face Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series next week.
She will be challenging Vaquer for her Women’s World Championship and recently urged her twin sister, Brie Bella, to come out of retirement and return to the promotion.
Nikki Bella wants to reunite the Bella Twins in WWE
The Bella Twins were one of the most successful female wrestlers in WWE at the time and are one of the most iconic women’s tag teams in professional wrestling. Nikki was talking in an interview with ET, where she stated that she’d love to have a final run with Brie on her side.
“I’m like, I started with her, and I want to end with her. I know everyone wants it, and I think it would be really cool for the fans as well as for this new era. Especially when you turn me heel, I’m super bad when I got sidekicks. But yeah, it’s hard. And I hope at least I get to end it with her,” Nikki Bella said.
Despite being one of the best tag teams, WWE didn’t have the Women’s Tag Team Championships during the Bella Twins’ initial run. With the title slowing being built back into relevance by Triple H and team, it’d be a disservice to the belt and the women’s tag division if the Bella Twins retire completely without ever winning the belts once.
