40-Year-Old WWE Star Issues Serious Threat To Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes does not have to go looking for trouble in WWE, as there are plenty of stars looking to bring the fight directly to him.
Cody Rhodes was recently taken off WWE TV after being viciously assaulted on SmackDown by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre drove Rhodes’ head through the announce table with a vicious Claymore as the Scottish star set his sights on reclaiming the WWE Championship.
In reality, Cody Rhodes took time off WWE TV to film the new Street Fighter movie while his wife, Brandi, also recently gave birth to the couple’s second child.
With uncertainty over Rhodes’ recent status, WWE was keeping their options open for Wrestlepalooza with Randy Orton stepping in to try and avenge Rhodes against McIntyre. As it happened, their match took place on SmackDown with McIntyre picking up the win.
After the match, Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE, bringing the fight to McIntyre and challenging him to a match at Wrestlepalooza.

But before that bout takes place, Drew McIntyre sent a warning of his own to The American Nightmare.
Taking to social media, Drew McIntyre shared a video of him driving past WWE fans singing his name while he played Rhodes’ theme music. McIntyre added a caption setting out his intentions for Rhodes:
The Rock wants Cody’s soul. I want his ass.

Drew McIntyre noticed his unfortunate phrasing as he replied to his own post with the word “Wait” and a screenshot of an infamous Kurt Angle promo where Angle inadvertently admitted to loving to play with little boys.
