40-Year-Old WWE Heel Put Through A Table After SmackDown Loss
A WWE heel has suffered a tough night on SmackDown.
For a few months, Damian Priest and Aleister Black have been feuding on SmackDown. The two superstars had a few backstage confrontations and even engaged in brawls.
Tonight on the blue brand, Black challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship after Carmelo Hayes, who was the first to answer Zayn’s Open Challenge, was taken out by his former tag team partner, The Miz.
Despite pushing the United States Champion to his limit, the 40-year-old challenger was distracted by The Archer of Infamy, who came out to the ringside. The distraction allowed Zayn to hit his opponent with a Helluva Kick for the victory.
Damian Priest Destroys Aleister Black On WWE SmackDown
After costing Aleister Black the United States Championship match, Damian Priest dragged the former NXT Champion out of the ring.
The 43-year-old former World Heavyweight Champion then delivered a devastating Razor’s Edge to his arch rival through the announce table. Priest then stood above Black’s seemingly unconscious body.
In a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley later on the show, Priest was asked how far he was willing to go in his feud with Black. The Archer of Infamy responded by challenging his rival to a Last Man Standing match next week on SmackDown.
