4-Time WWE Champion Tipped For Brock Lesnar Feud After John Cena’s Exit

Brock Lesnar WWE

A former World Heavyweight Champion has recently been suggested for a WWE feud with Brock Lesnar.

After his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, Brock Lesnar went on a three-year hiatus from WWE. However, he returned at this year’s Biggest Party of the Summer to shockingly take out John Cena.

The Beast Incarnate and The Never Seen 17 later squared off at Wrestlepalooza in their first one-on-one match in 11 years. The bout saw Lesnar unbelievably squash his 48-year-old opponent.

While some speculated that the two legends may fight again before Cena retires at the end of this year, it seemed like the latter has moved on, as he is now scheduled to face AJ Styles at Crown Jewel.

Ex-WWE Star Thinks Gunther Should Feud With Brock Lesnar

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, former WWE star Tommy Dreamer addressed Brock Lesnar’s future following John Cena’s in-ring retirement.

The wrestling veteran suggested Gunther could replace The Never Seen 17 as a rival for The Beast Incarnate.

Brock doesn’t need the rub of anybody. If this is a statement for GUNTHER, obviously I look at the future of WWE 2026 … a main drawing person is no longer going to be with us and that person’s name is John Cena, where these big matches we have, what we can be doing will no longer be available.

So if this is a match for GUNTHER and Brock, I’m all in on it because if it’s somebody who could use that rub to beat the man who beat everybody, that is something that could definitely benefit a GUNTHER. [H/T: WrestlingInc]
