WWE hasn’t been the kindest to everyone. While some thrived in the company, quite a few left with a bitter taste in their mouth.

Former WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey is one of them who has felt that the fandom did not accept her, and even when they did, her booking wasn’t done properly.

She started working with WWE in 2018 and worked with the company till October 2023.

Ronda Rousey will not return to WWE

After she left the company, there were questions about whether or not she would return.

While speaking on Bertcast #700 with Bert Kreischer, the former champion revealed that she is grateful for the experience, but does not want to return.

When I went back [to WWE], it was kind of like the death throes of the Vince McMahon era. It was when he was still around, but kind of like, not really. And then like, it was just all this indecision, and everyone’s kind of frozen because they didn’t want to, like, move without his permission, but they couldn’t get it. It was just a mess.

They threw my WrestleMania match together the day before. We had all year to plan this, and we were still figuring it out the day before. And like, I don’t blame Shayna for that at all. Like, she’s a saint. I love her. She was the only reason I made it through that year. But like, yeah, it was… it was a shit show.

Probably not going to be going back. I’m grateful for the experience, but it’s not my circus, not my monkeys.

Ronda Rousey opened up about her health issues that made it difficult to work WWE promos.
