3 WWE Legends May Make Shocking Return From AEW

Triple H WWE

Three WWE legends leaving AEW for a shocking return to AEW is allegedly possible.

Several former WWE stars and legends, including Adam Copeland (aka Edge), Christian Cage, and Chris Jericho, have joined Tony Khan’s promotion over the past few years.

On a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, wrestling veteran Konnan discussed the three legends potentially making a comeback to the Stamford-based company. He claimed there is a possibility that could happen. Rumors have recently linked Jericho and Copeland to a WWE return despite nothing being confirmed.

Well, I said, imagine WWE, and it could happen with Jericho, Christian, and Edge. Bro, I wouldn’t mind Christian taking over from Paul E (Paul Heyman), but Christian if he went, he should either have his own faction or team up with Edge. [8:19 onwards]

Could Chris Jericho Be John Cena’s Final WWE Opponent?

On the same episode of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan and his co-host, former WCW star Disco Inferno, discussed the possibility of Chris Jericho being John Cena’s final opponent. The 54-year-old’s AEW contract reportedly ends later this year.

Konnan stated that it would be incredible if Jericho made a surprise return at Saturday Night’s Main Event to challenge the 17-time world champion.

Well, let me just say this. If he could get out early, let’s say, and nobody knew about it and he was a surprise, well, that would be incredible.
