3-Time WWE Champion Announces Engagement
A former WWE superstar has revealed being engaged to their partner.
Scotty 2 Hotty revealed the news on his Facebook page while sharing pictures with his bride-to-be from the Disney Family Farm.
Historically, Scotty is known to be a huge Disney fan, with Hall of Famer Mick Foley even dubbing him a “Disney psychotic.”
Real name Scott Garland, his stint with the Stamford promotion began in 1997 after being signed by Bruce Prichard. He was introduced as Scott Taylor.
The following year at WrestleMania XIV, he teamed up with “Too Sexy” Brian Christopher, later becoming known as Scott “Too Hot” Taylor. Their Team got the name “Too Cool” in 1999.
They were temporarily separated due to Christopher’s legitimate injury, before reuniting five months later, when Christopher was rebranded as Grand Master Sexay.
In 2000, they roped in Rikishi. He won the Tag Team Championship twice, once each with Grand Master Sexay and Rikishi.
He is also a one-time Light Heavyweight Champion with WWE.
Scotty was released from the company in 2007, but was brought back for sporadic appearances over the years. From 2016 to 2021, he was a trainer at the Performance Center with the NXT brand.
The 52-year-old joined AEW in 2023 and is currently signed as a producer and coach.
A WWE Couple Recently Got Engaged
Popular WWE stars Kelani Jordon and Carmelo Hayes recently announced their engagement on social media.
Since their announcement, both wrestlers have taken huge strides in their respective careers.
While Jordan shockingly won the TNA Knockouts Championship, Hayes unsuccessfully challenged for the United States Championship a few weeks ago against then-champion Sami Zayn.
Hayes is currently involved in a feud with his former mentor, The Miz. Meanwhile, Jordan made her first successful title defense, defeating Indi Hartwell at TNA Bound for Glory.
