3-Time Champion Loses High-Stakes Grudge Match At AEW Full Gear 2025
AEW is hosting one of the promotion’s ‘Big Five’ PPVs from the Prudential Center in New Jersey tonight as Full Gear 2025 emanates from the home of the New Jersey Devils.
This event marks the return of the PPV to this particular venue, as the promotion previously hosted both the 2022 and 2024 editions of the event at this location. The main card of the event kicked off with the singles match between Darby Allin and Pac.
The Daredevil has been feuding with Jon Moxley and the rest of the Death Riders ever since he returned to the promotion earlier in the year. He defeated Moxley at last month’s WrestleDream and went after his stablemate tonight.
Pac kicks off the AEW Full Gear with a huge win for the DeathRiders
The two wrestlers kicked the night off and put an amazing match to set the tone for the rest of the night. Allin was dominating the early stages of the match, despite sporting severe burns that he suffered during the Blood and Guts match just a few weeks ago.
Pac took advantage of Allin’s condition and used the burns on his body against him to take control of the match. Throughout the match, the momentum kept shifting between the two high-flyers, making it extremely difficult to predict the outcome.

The match turned in favour of Pac after Darby put him into a Scorpion Death Lock, following which he called Wheeler Yuta out to assist him. Yuta distracted both Darby and the referee, allowing Pac to use Sting’s baseball bat to hit Allin in the face and seal the win for himself.
