3-Time Champion Confirms New WWE Name
Natalya is a 1-time Divas Champion, 1-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, and 1-time Women’s Tag Team Champion in WWE.
Her journey has been long, steady, and respected, but never quite as headline-grabbing as some of her contemporaries. Despite being a three-time champion and one of the most technically sound female wrestlers in WWE history, she’s never consistently sat at the top of the women’s division.
Her promos, while competent, often lacked the spark that connects instantly with live audiences. And though she’s carried the Hart family legacy with pride, the Stamford-based promotion has rarely packaged her with a strong, standout character that elevates her beyond her legacy status.
Even when she held titles or was involved in key matches, the spotlight often felt temporary, meant more to support rising stars than to center her as a main event act. Now, The BOAT’s latest career move has added a new layer to her evolving story.
Natalya becomes Nattie in WWE
Natalya has not appeared on WWE television since May 2025, when she competed against Roxanne Perez and Becky Lynch in the Money in the Bank qualifying match.
During her current hiatus from the company, the veteran performer has adopted a new ring name on the independent circuit: Nattie Neidhart. It’s a subtle but meaningful change, signaling a return to her roots and personal identity beyond the WWE system. She confirmed her name change through a tweet on X.
She tweeted, “Natalya elevates. Nattie decimates.”

Nattie launched her independent wrestling career earlier this year, appearing in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 13 during WrestleMania weekend, despite remaining a WWE performer.
Fans also spotted her working matches under the Nattie Neidhart name in promotions like Reality of Wrestling, her recent one being a match against Promise Braxton at the Hart and Soul event in Texas City, Texas.
