3 Blockbuster Matches May Headline WWE Wrestlepalooza

Wrestlepalooza is on the horizon in WWE, and it seems there are three huge matches that could potentially headline the show.

WWE is continuing its campaign of counter-programming AEW with the recently announced Wrestlepalooza that will take place on September 20th. This will be the first time that a WWE main roster PLE has gone head-to-head with an AEW pay-per-view.

Brock Lesnar made his shock return to WWE at SummerSlam, where he took out John Cena just moments after Cena lost the WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. However, Cena was challenged to a match at Clash In Paris by Logan Paul, meaning a showdown with Lesnar would have to wait. Many expect that match to be the main event of Wrestlepalooza, but it seems there are a couple of other matches that could steal that spot.

What Will Headline WWE Wrestlepalooza?

Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, broadcaster Sam Roberts laid out his thoughts for three mega matches that could all potentially headline Wrestlepalooza:

I see Wrestlepalooza as like a mega show where you’re gonna have John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar, you’re gonna have Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes and you’re gonna have who knows what else.

Who knows what’s gonna happen in that fatal four-way match but CM Punk is advertised for this show, Seth Rollins is advertised for this show, Becky Lynch is advertised for this show. I could see them doing a Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk match at Wrestlepalooza. Some people see that as the main event of WrestleMania.
