2 WWE Main Roster Stars Join NXT
There has been a major change in the career of two WWE stars as they have officially joined NXT.
The WWE Draft was done and dusted several months ago as major changes came to the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT rosters. But despite them being settled, it seems WWE is not shy about making changes when necessary as two SmackDown stars have moved to NXT.
On the 9th of July edition of NXT, Stevie Turner and Robert Stone continued their quest for approval from General Manager Ava in the hopes of being her assistant.
To prove her worth to Ava, Turner set up a meeting between Ava and former Raw Tag Team Champion Cedric Alexander as it emerged Alexander had signed up for NXT. That was followed by Robert Stone bringing in Alexander’s current tag team partner Ashante Thee Adonis for his own meeting with Ava.
New Beginning In WWE For Tag Team
Adonis and Alexander were drafted together in the 2024 WWE Draft staying put on SmackDown. The pair have been teaming on the blue brand in dark matches since late 2023 but have yet to appear on TV together despite vignettes airing for the pair.
Ashante Thee Adonis’ last appearance on TV came in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 40 while Alexander appeared on the 26th of April edition of SmackDown where he was decimated in 13 seconds by Bron Breakker.
