2 Title Matches Confirmed For WWE SmackDown On August 29th

Two title matches will take place when WWE SmackDown goes to France before the Clash in Paris PLE.

Although the team of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss may not admit it, they are friends, and their success as the Women’s Tag Team Champions since winning the titles at SummerSlam earlier this month is a testament to that.

Since winning the titles, Flair and Bliss have had their issues with Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre).

When Alexa Bliss faced Piper Niven on the August 15th edition of WWE SmackDown, Bliss found a way to get the win over her larger opponent. However, after the match, Green and Secret Hervice attacked Flair and Bliss and stood tall after delivering a message.

Charlotte Flair had her match with Piper Niven on WWE SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland, but Bliss wasn’t on hand to provide backup for her championship partner. Because of that, Fyre distracted the referee, Green gouged Flair’s eyes, and Niven hit a Michinoku Driver to pin Flair in a result that could be viewed as an upset.

Later on SmackDown, it was announced that when WWE heads to Lyon, France, for SmackDown on August 29th, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Sercet Hervice’s Piper Niven & Chelsea Green.

Solo Sikoa Also Defending The US Title On WWE SmackDown In Lyon

Sami Zayn officially moved to SmackDown this month. Prior to the official move, Zayn beat the WWE US Champion Solo Sikoa on SmackDown in Montreal on August 8th in a non-title match.

As most WWE fans know, when a champion loses a non-title match, it usually leads to a title, and that’s going to happen for the US Title in this instance.

It was announced on WWE SmackDown in Dublin that Solo Sikoa will defend the US Title against Sami Zayn when SmackDown goes to Lyon, France, on August 29th.
