2 Title Matches Already Made For WWE NXT No Mercy

WWE NXT No Mercy over Jacy Jayne

NXT Heatwave is in the books, and WWE has already confirmed two major matches that will take place at No Mercy.

Heatwave saw Oba Femi retain his NXT Championship against Je’Von Evans in the night’s main event just days after Evans had earned the right to challenge for the gold when he defeated TNA World Champion Trick Williams.

It was not such a good night for Jacy Jayne, as she lost the TNA Knockouts Championship to Ash By Elegance. The former Dana Brooke picked up the win in a triple threat match where she pinned her fellow TNA star Masha Slamovic.

Worse could come for Jacy Jayne, however, as her next number one contender for the NXT Women’s Title was also decided at Heatwave. Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and Lola Vice clashed in a triple threat bout for the right to challenge for that gold, with Vice picking up the win.

WWE Women’s Titles On The Line At No Mercy

Lola Vice’s NXT Women’s Title match will take place at No Mercy on September 27th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

WWE has also confirmed that its Speed titles are coming to NXT with Sol Ruca set to defend her gold. A tournament will take place on the September 2nd edition of NXT TV, with representatives from TNA and AAA taking part in it, as well as WWE stars. The winner of that tournament will challenge Sol Ruca for the women’s WWE Speed Title at No Mercy.

Heatwave took place on the same day that AEW and NJPW presented Forbidden Door from London, England. Will Ospreay was left needing medical attention despite his squad managing to pick up the victory in a huge lights out cage match.
