2-Time WWE Champion Urged To Interfere In John Cena Vs. AJ Styles
John Cena and AJ Styles are set to go head-to-head at WWE Crown Jewel. A top superstar has recently been urged to interfere in the highly anticipated battle.
The Leader of the Cenation last wrestled earlier this month at Wrestlepalooza, where he was shockingly squashed by The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.
Meanwhile, The Phenomenal One has not competed since the September 8 episode of Monday Night RAW, when he defeated El Grande Americano.
After Wrestlepalooza, Cena took to X to demand that Styles and the WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H, listen to the fans and give them what they want, which is one final match between him and The Phenomenal One.
Styles was quick to accept The Never Seen 17’s challenge. The Game followed with the official announcement that the two legends will go one-on-one at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.
WWE Hall Of Famer Wants The Miz To Interfere In The Match
Following the announcement of John Cena’s bout with AJ Styles, The Miz expressed his frustration for not getting a match against the 17-time world champion on the latter’s retirement tour in an interview with Unlikely.
While he admitted he was upset that the company did not consider him as an opponent for Cena, he asked fans to show their support for his cause.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray urged The Miz to interfere in Cena’s match against Styles at Crown Jewel. He claimed it would be the perfect scenario to increase interest level in the storyline and involve The Awesome One.
You what I’d like to see Miz do? Keep f**king complaining all the way up to Perth and get yourself involved in this match. Everything that Miz is saying is legit. Miz should say, ‘I’m not retiring in a year. AJ is retiring in a year. John, you’re on your way out.’ Who benefits from this? The fans benefit from it because they get to see this match that they want. But I would love to see Miz weasel his way into this match because that will p*ss people off.
