2 Popular WWE Stars Will Allegedly Leave Company By Next Monday
Two popular WWE stars might exit the promotion by next Monday.
For a couple of months now, reports about Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s contracts have dominated the industry.
While some suggested contract negotiations were underway and the real-life couple might agree to terms, the latest rumors claim otherwise.
Kross was featured on Night 1 of WWE SummerSlam PLE at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as he faced Sami Zayn in a singles match.
The match in itself was entertaining and had a bit of drama in its closing minutes when Scarlett gave Zayn a steel pipe, encouraging him to use it on Kross, channeling his dark side.
The 41-year-old star instead threw away the pipe and defeated Kross after hitting a Helluva Kick.
Before Zayn headed backstage, he told Kross they were done, to which the latter nodded and agreed.
Karrion Kross And Scarlett Missed The Latest WWE RAW Taping
The August 4 episode of WWE RAW was expected to set up new rivalries, and it did deliver to an extent.
Some fans did go in wondering what Kross and Scarlett would be scheming next, now that the feud with Sami Zayn had ended.
To their surprise, the couple remained absent from the taping.
Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman discussed them on his latest The Last Word podcast and provided a possible update on their future with the promotion.
From what I hear, and Karrion Kross was not on the show tonight, and he got beat clean Saturday night, it will be one of the biggest misses that they’ve had in recent memory. You had a two for one; his wife is spectacular, he’s incredibly intelligent. You could have done so much, and I feel like if the rumors are true, by next Monday, he will be released and not be a WWE superstar. That’s what I believe to be true. Because otherwise, why would you beat him clean two times in a month? Why would you not use the second-best entrance in the entire company? [48:31 onwards]
Post-SummerSlam, Kross hit out at WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H for ignoring fans.
