2 Major AEW Title Matches Added To WrestleDream
The AEW WrestleDream card is continuing to grow with two major title matches added to the show.
WrestleDream will take place on October 18th as the show heads to St. Louis for the very first time. Hangman Adam Page will defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe after a surprise fallout between the two stars led to a physical confrontation.
Timeless Toni Storm will get the chance to reclaim her gold as she challenges Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
There is also sure to be a tremendous amount of violence in St. Louis as well as Jon Moxley will clash with Darby Allin in an I Quit match.
The Don Callis Family In Action At AEW WrestleDream
On Title Tuesday, two more championship matches were added to WrestleDream as The Don Callis Family gets in on the action.
TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher came face-to-face with Mark Briscoe in Daily’s Place after Fletcher won the battle of the Kyles over Kyle O’Reilly. Briscoe and Fletcher will meet at WrestleDream for The Protostar’s TNT Title. Currently, the two stars are 2-2 in singles matches with each other.
The uneasy alliance between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita continued as they teamed up in a Double Jeopardy match with AEW Tag Team Champions Brodido. Okada and Takeshita won the bout, ensuring they will get a shot at the AEW Tag Team Title with that match also set for WrestleDream.
