2 Major AEW Stars Tipped To Win Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match

The Casino Gauntlet Match has returned to AEW.

Both male and female wrestlers will compete in their respective matches at All In: Texas on Saturday.

Among women, Kris Statlander will start the gauntlet after she beat Athena, Thunder Rosa, and Willow Nightingale in a four-way qualifying match during the June 26 episode of Dynamite.

Megan Bayne qualified next and will start against Statlander before the surprise entrants come in.

The match ends when a wrestler either pins or submits an opponent. The winner may be decided even before all the participants have entered.

On the latest episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, Freddie Prinze Jr. named the two wrestlers, tipping either of them to win the women’s gauntlet match.

Major AEW Stars Added To Men’s Gauntlet Match

During the June 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Mark Briscoe secured the #1 spot in the gauntlet match after defeating Baidido, Konosuke Takeshita, and Roderick Strong.

In the subsequent episode, MJF earned the #2 spot by beating Brody King, AR Fox, and Anthony Bowens.

While Mistico’s entry was confirmed on July 6, Bandido, Ricochet, and Brody King’s entry was made official on the July 9 Dynamite episode.

With both men’s and women’s gauntlet matches allowing 21 entrants, a few wrestlers could make surprise entries.

The winner will earn a championship match in the near future.

In the main event, “Hangman” Adam Page will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death match.
