2 AEW Stars Asked To Quit Company

AEW Tony Khan

Two stars have recently departed AEW, but it seems that the exit was not entirely the company’s decision.

AEW’s roster page has removed Sarah Stock as a coach, although news of her impending exit had broken in April. However, more surprisingly, a tag team has also been removed from the roster page, as Dutch and Vincent of The Righteous have also disappeared.

It was then confirmed that The Righteous left AEW around the end of April, but it seems there was more to it than their contracts simply expiring.

The Righteous Asked For AEW Exit

PWInsider reported that both Vincent and Dutch had asked to be let go from their contracts and that this request was granted. The pair’s contracts were believed to run later into 2025. The split has been described as amicable and one source noted that there would be no surprise if The Righteous appeared in AEW or ROH again but that there are currently no plans for that to happen.

The Righteous had several AEW matches beginning in 2023, but the tag team was mainly used in Tony Khan’s Ring of Honor. Dutch and Vincent’s highest-profile match during this run came when they challenged MJF in a two-on-one match for the ROH Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream in 2023. MJF won the bout despite his tag team partner, Adam Cole, missing the action due to a serious ankle injury.

Dutch and Vincent had their final Ring of Honor match in April 2025 when they teamed with The Premier Athletes to defeat Spanish Announce Project & The Kingdom.
