14-Time WWE World Champion Confirms He’ll Never Wrestle Again
The WWE Universe will never watch a 14-time world champion compete again inside the squared circle.
Triple H had a long, successful career as an in-ring competitor in the Stamford-based company, winning 14 world championships.
However, The Game had to retire from in-ring competition in 2022 due to a serious heart condition.
Despite his retirement, a few have recently speculated about a potential in-ring return for the current Chief Content Officer.
Speaking at the post-Night Of Champions panel, Triple H addressed whether he would ever have one more match. The 55-year-old confirmed he will never wrestle again.
Trust me there ain’t one more match left in this. You know how they say ‘if it’s the last thing I do’, it WOULD be the last thing I do. [H/T: WrestleTalk]
WWE CCO Triple H Also Confirmed John Cena And CM Punk Won’t Fight Again
On the post-Night of Champions panel, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H also discussed the main event between John Cena and CM Punk, which ended with The Franchise Player retaining his Undisputed WWE Championship.
The Game disclosed that he was glad they managed to set that match up before Cena retired by the end of this year, confirming that they will never wrestle each other again.
It was incredible. You know, you are talking about two superstars in John Cena and CM Punk that sort of defined an era. And not only that defining an era, but sort of in a way defined each other.
You know, if you talk about CM Punk and his career, you automatically talk about John Cena. If you talk about John Cena’s career, you talk about CM Punk. It’s just two generational stars coming together one last time.
I think as much as it meant to fans here and around the world, I think that’s what it meant to John Cena, to CM Punk. I’m glad we were able to put that fight together to deliver here in Saudi. I’m glad they got to do it before John called it a day.
