$12,000 Grudge To Be Settled On WWE Raw

A grudge match has been made for the next edition of WWE Raw after two stars fell out over a very expensive hat.

The New Day lost the World Tag Team Championship to The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh at the end of June. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been in mourning since that loss, wearing black and cutting miserable figures.

On the August 4th edition of Raw, The New Day were on commentary for Penta’s match with their new associate, Grayson Waller. Woods wore an outlandish hat for the occasion, reminiscent of Yoshimitsu from the Tekken video game series. Penta ended up stealing the hat before he launched it at Woods and Kingston.

Xavier Woods Gets Penta On WWE Raw

Now, on the August 11th edition of WWE Raw, Xavier Woods was unhappy that his large hat was disrespected, and so he was wearing a tiny one instead. Woods complained to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce about the hat theft, claiming it was valued at a whopping $12,000. Pearce was unsympathetic as he made a match between Woods and Penta on the 18th of August edition of Raw, so they can settle their issues in the ring.
