10-Time Champion May Never Wrestle In WWE Again

A WWE tag team legend may never wrestle in the company again.

The Stamford-based promotion is renowned for giving veterans a platform to return to the ring or provide them with a storyline where they can exit with their heads held high.

D-Von Dudley, unfortunately, is not that person.

If his comments during a recent interview are anything to go by, he may have wrestled his last match with the promotion.

The 10-time tag team champion appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet when he was asked about the number of matches he had in him.

While D-Von said he had one match in him, it might not happen there.

I don’t think the powers that be would let that happen. Because the way WWE is now, they go through so much to get somebody to a point where you have to prove that you’re healthy. I mean, there’s guys that have a cracked rib, and they gotta go through hell and back to try to get the okay to be able to come back. Would it be WWE? I would do it definitely for WWE. WWE is my home. It always has been, just like ECW. Those two companies have been my life. No other company would come before that.

Former WWE Champions To Reunite At TNA Bound For Glory

The Hardy Boyz captured the TNA tag team championship at Slammiversary.

They beat defending champions, the Nemeths, alongside First Class and The Rascalz.

As the Hardys celebrated, a familiar music hit, and out came Bully Ray. He congratulated the champions and spoke about their rivalry and achievements of the past.

He also stated his purpose of disturbing their celebrations by proposing one last tag team match between the Hardys and Team 3D at Bound for Glory in October.

While D-Von Dudley did not attend the pay-per-view, it might now be the last match he was referring to in his interview.
