Only 1 Person Named in Hulk Hogan’s $5 Million Will
The legendary Hulk Hogan passed away from an acute myocardial infarction (a heart attack) on July 24, 2025, at his home in Clearwater Beach, Florida. He was 71. Emergency responders treated him at the scene before he was declared dead at Morton Plant Hospital.
The Hulkster’s death was surrounded by controversy, with initial suspicions of medical malpractice due to a recent neck surgery that allegedly severed his phrenic nerve, affecting his breathing. Brooke Hogan was outspoken, demanding answers from medical authorities and insisting on a thorough investigation into her father’s sudden collapse.
Law enforcement and a private autopsy found no evidence of foul play, ultimately verifying Hulk Hogan’s death as a result of natural causes, primarily heart disease compounded by previous health issues. Brooke later expressed relief, stating that while doubts lingered at first, the final police and medical findings ruled out any malpractice or negligence.
Nick Hogan Is the Sole Beneficiary of Hulk Hogan’s Estate
US Weekly and TMZ recently confirmed that only Nick Hogan was named as the sole beneficiary of Hulk Hogan’s nearly $5 million estate. According to court documents filed in Pinellas County on September 9, 2025, Nick, age 35, is the co-personal representative of the estate, while Terry McCoy is proposed as curator.
Hulk Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, was acknowledged only as a surviving spouse in the documents. The inheritance process has played out without contest from any other family members.
Brooke Hogan was omitted from the will, a decision she herself had requested in 2023. On a podcast aired August 5, 2025, she explained she made this emotional decision both to protect herself from family disputes over money and because, as a new mother, she wanted to avoid complications and focus on her own growing family.
She made it clear her relationship with her father was about love, not financial legacy, and she reiterated that this was a conscious choice made with full clarity, not out of estrangement or rivalry.
“Money didn’t matter. I was like, ‘Take me off everything.’ And I was sobbing, I was sobbing when I wrote the text to Terry McCoy — the guy that manages his money — I was sobbing and I just said, ‘Take me off everything, I just — I don’t want to be a part of it.’ Because I knew, in my mind, this is how the math was going to work out.
