The 1 Change Roman Reigns Hopes AEW’s Jon Moxley Has Made

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns hasn’t heard from Jon Moxley in a while but he hopes his former partner and current AEW World Champion has made one big change in his life.

For years, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley were brothers in arms in The Shield alongside Seth Rollins. Moxley – then known as Dean Ambrose – stuck by Reigns after Rollins betrayed the group and an alliance was built that lasted as long as Moxley remained in WWE.

Since Jon Moxley left the company following a huge send-off as The Shield reunited for one last run, Roman Reigns has been at the top of WWE as the dominant Tribal Chief. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley now sits on top of AEW as the tyrannical leader of the Death Riders.

But in real life, Roman Reigns hopes his old friend has cut out his unpredictability.

Roman Reigns Couldn’t Always Find Jon Moxley

Speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Roman Reigns discussed his relationship with Jon Moxley and explained that Moxley was not difficult to get a hold of, even at shows:

It’s been a while. I haven’t talked to him in a bit. The one thing about Mox is you can’t GPS him. You can’t be like, ‘Oh he’s right here, don’t worry’ – we had no clue where he is, but we always knew he would be there.

A lot of times we’d be up in the concourse, so we all get up there together and you’re wondering where he is because there’s only so many places to hide.

But that was the one thing, he scared us a couple of times like they’re playing the Shield music and going through the alphabet, and I’m over here looking at Seth like, ‘Uhh, do you know where the fox is?’ The fox is gonna fox. But literally every time it was time to take a step down those stairs, he was always there.

And that’s how he was. This guy, we’d be walking through the airport, and he’d just disappear. Like, ‘Man, where is he?’ And then out of nowhere, he pops up, he’d have a bagel and a coffee and half a mouthful of a croissant or something like that.

It’s been a while and he’s got a family now so I’m hoping that he’s a little more predictable for his wife and child’s sake, but yeah he was an unpredictable dude for sure.
