New Logo And Theme Song For NXT Revealed
Speaking in a new interview with BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani, over SummerSlam weekend, WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that the company were undertaking a “complete revamp” of the developmental brand.
Reports initially began shortly after NXT released numerous members of its roster at the beginning of August that WWE’s developmental brand was heading towards a change of direction. New sets and logos were discussed as well as an overhaul of the recruitment process and the ethos of what they are looking for in potential NXT Superstars.
The first stage of the revamp is now well underway with the brand getting a new logo and theme song. Both were first unveiled by Wale, who performs the new theme, on social media. Wale has a long standing relationship with WWE and currently provides entrance music for Big E and the video clip later aired on SmackDown.

Speaking in the aforementioned interview, Khan said that Triple H would be spearheading the changes.
“We’re doing a complete revamp on NXT, led by Triple H, Paul Levesque, who was really one of the architects of the original NXT…”
“So we want our system to be an easy system where people who want to be superstars, they know how to get to us and we can get to them in terms of an NXT rebrand, look for it in the next couple of weeks. It’s going to have a whole new look. It’s going to have a whole new feel. And we believe because a lot of the indie wrestlers, if you will, have come through our system and our in our system with Smackdown and Raw, now, we don’t want to just keep doing that same thing. We want to look elsewhere for great young talent.”
During the conversation, Khan also discussed the slew of recent releases in the company and why it’s “good by the company” when talents move on.
