Speaking recently on ‘The Takedown‘, Michaels had high praise for the NXT women’s roster and promised even further surprise additions further down the line:

“The best stacked women’s roster in all of the world, if you ask me. Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and then of course, two of the hottest free agents in all the world with Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.

And there are other big, big surprises coming down the pike. If you thought we were stacked before, you haven’t seen anything yet. And that goes on both sides of the roster.”

“Right now, whether it be Raw or SmackDown, there are some of the most talented women in all the world. You talk about Bayley, Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, and numerous others.

And then you think about the possibility of adding a Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Jaida Parker, or a Roxanne Perez to that list. Absolutely unbelievable for the future of the WWE as a whole. We’re very excited about the work that we’re doing.”

Bron Breakker is keen to learn from The Undertaker.

Breakker clashed with The Deadman on the October 10th, 2023 episode of NXT and revealed he will never forget working with the legend.

“Absolute honor for me to even be in that position with him, with such a legend. It was an incredible night. That’s a night I’ll never forget. That’ll probably be some sort of poster or picture that’s on my wall forever. So surreal moment between me and him, and [I’m] just so thankful I got to be a part of it. He’s awesome. Love that dude.”

Steve Austin Names Nicest Guy He’s Met In Hollywood
Steve Austin's Key Guidance To Former WWE Superstar

WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin is a big fan of Hollywood star Adam Sandler.

After his illustrious in-ring career Austin, like many other wrestlers headed to Hollywood to try his hand at acting. While his acting gig didn’t reach the heights of The Rock, John Cena or Batista’s forrays into acting he starred in some memorable roles.

One such role saw the Texas Rattlesnake appear in Grown Ups 2 as Adam Sandler’s high school bully Tommy Cavanaugh and his experience on set with Sandler left a lasting impression on him.

Speaking on Too Much Access in a recent interview, Austin disclosed why Sandler was a joy to work with.

“I always tell people, that’s the nicest guy I ever met in Hollywood. I didn’t do Hollywood, I lived in Marina Del Rey in the Venice area, so I didn’t go to parties, I didn’t go to the Hollywood hills. I didn’t do none of that shit, it wasn’t my scene. I was an athlete.

Those actors are a little different. I don’t mean that in a bad way, I just mean they’re different than an athlete, they’re wired different, or I’m wired differently than they are. Adam Sandler was the funniest, nicest guy I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve enjoyed each time I’ve gotten to work with him. He’s a super guy, a sweetheart.

Will Ospreay AEW

Will Ospreay wants to test one of pro wrestling’s legends.

The British star has faced many of the world’s greatest performers and now wants to meet a WWE Hall of Famer in the ring.

Speaking in a new interview with Bleacher Report’s Chris Mueller, Ospreay again singled out Copeland who is currently out of action with a broken leg.

“Adam Copeland is a big one, prior to his injury, he was performing at a level I’ve never seen him perform at. He fits in with what the AEW style is. To have him around as a real good coach backstage as well, he’s helped out so many of us with advice. I really do like his presence and I really do think his heart is in AEW. I want to test him as much as I want him to test me.”

Mercedes Mone Thinks WWE Change “Sucks For The Wrestlers”

Mercedes Mone AEW

Mercedes Mone has bemoaned the upcoming change to run time for WWE Raw.

Monday Night Raw will move television networks on October 7th and be cut down from 3 hours to a 2 hour show and the former Sasha Banks believes it could impact members of the roster.

During a recent appearance on ‘‘The Breakfast Club‘, Mone noted her belief that the temporary change could impact opportunities for female wrestlers:

“I think that sucks for the wrestlers. If you lose a whole hour, that’s a whole opportunity of performing in front of a live audience and in front of millions watching at home, but I think just the move to Netflix is so huge for them that they’re gonna gain so much more opportunities in so many different other ways.

I think it’s great for performers to get more opportunities, especially for women. We’re only given five to eight minutes, so we need that extra hour—we need that time to tell a story.”
