How WWE Felt About Tiffany Stratton-Charlotte Flair Segments Following Controversy

Tiffany Stratton WWE SmackDown

The “Face to Face” segment between WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and her WrestleMania 41 opponent Charlotte Flair certainly got people talking but how did it go down with those in charge?

The reason people talked about it so much is because the two women went off script so much that they got backstage heat because of what they said.

Since Flair was booed so heavily by the Chicago crowd on WWE SmackDown on April 4th, she was thrown off and decided to mock Stratton’s “squeaky voice.” Stratton blasted Flair in return by mentioning that Flair was alone outside the ring and also 0-3, which was a reference to Flair’s three divorces.

When Stratton felt she had said enough, Flair decided to get in a final word, claiming that Stratton’s boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser was in Flair’s DMs (direct messages).

There were two segments on SmackDown in Seattle, including Flair attacking Stratton in the parking lot before the show. That wasn’t shown by WWE on television, but they directed fans to seek it out on social media.

Later in the show, Tiffany Stratton beat Roxanne Perez in a competitive match. After the match, Charlotte Flair pulled Stratton out of the ring. Flair threw Stratton into the barricade, ring post and over the commentary table before announcer Wade Barrett got in Flair’s face to calm her down.

It has been reported by Fightful Select that while the previous week’s segment was “off the rails” in many ways, the April 11th segments between Stratton and Ripley made WWE officials happy. The company felt that the two women responded and worked well together following the uncomfortable segment one week prior.

The physical altercation that Flair and Stratton engaged in was considered very stiff. The company also felt that everything ended up okay with WWE Producers and backstage personnel commenting that it went as planned, so there were no issues.

Becky Lynch Mentions WrestleMania Amid WWE Absence

Becky Lynch has WrestleMania on her mind while WWE fans wonder when she might return.

The last time Becky Lynch appeared on WWE television was when she lost to Liv Morgan on the May 27, 2024, edition of Raw. Days later, Lynch’s WWE contract expired and she was officially on a hiatus from the company.

It was reported in January that Becky Lynch has agreed to a new WWE contract, which led to a lot of fans thinking she might be in the Women’s Royal Rumble. That didn’t happen and Lynch has yet to return to the company. In her time away from WWE, Lynch has done various acting projects while also keeping busy by raising her daughter Roux, along with her WWE superstar husband, Seth Rollins.

The 7-time WWE Women’s Champion Lynch appeared at the Ultimate Improv Show as the special guest monologist. While appearing on stage, Lynch did mention WWE since it’s WrestleMania season.

“It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it? I’m not wrestling anymore…maybe one day, but not right now. But my husband is.”

Becky Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins is in one of the biggest WrestleMania 41 matches against Roman Reigns and CM Punk, which is the main event on Saturday, April 19th.

Will Ospreay wants to step into the ring with a legendary former AEW World Champion.

It has been just over one year since Will Ospreay became a full-time AEW wrestler in March 2024. Since then, Ospreay has been in the ring with some of the biggest names in the company like Swerve Strickland, Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, and many others.

There is a former AEW World Champion that Ospreay hasn’t wrestled yet: Samoa Joe.

During an appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Will Ospreay explained how Samoa Joe is a dream match of his, partly because Ospreay was inspired to be a wrestler by former WWE & TNA World Champion AJ Styles, who is perhaps the greatest rival of Joe’s career, and also a close friend.

“There’s someone in AEW that I’ve never actually crossed paths with, but, like, has such a tie to him. I was thinking about it for so long, I was like, You know what? I’d love to wrestle him, Samoa Joe.”

“I’ve never wrestled Samoa Joe. I’ve never wrestled him, never crossed paths with him.”

“I want to feel that. I want to be tested. I want to be pushed to my limits. So that’s something that I would love to do.”

WWE Hall of Fame Inductors Revealed

Triple H WWE Hall Of Fame

The inductors have been named for the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame, including The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels.

One of the big events during WWE’s upcoming WrestleMania 41 takeover in Las Vegas is the Hall of Fame ceremony that will take place on Friday, April 18th.

This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will take place at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas at 1 A.M. ET, which is 10 P.M. locally in Las Vegas, about two hours after SmackDown ends.

A graphic was shown during WWE SmackDown in Seattle that revealed who will be inducting this year’s Hall of Fame honorees.

  • WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque will be inducted by Shawn Michaels. When Michaels was inducted in 2011, Triple H was his inductor.
  • Lex Luger will be inducted by Diamond Dallas Page.
  • Michelle McCool will be inducted by The Undertaker, who is married to McCool.
  • Immortal Moment: Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13 will be inducted by CM Punk, who is a huge fan of both men, and the match took place in Chicago, which is Punk’s hometown.

Ex-AEW Star Admits They Underperformed While With Company

Saraya Britt Baker AEW

An ex-AEW star thinks they could have done more while they were All Elite.

On March 26, Saraya announced her departure from AEW, six months before her contract officially expired in September.

From the moment the news broke she’s been linked with a return to WWE where she spent 11 years between 2011 and 2022. However, things might not be quite that straightforward.

During a new interview with Muscle Man Malcolm, Saraya appeared to confirm that she won’t wrestle in 2025 as she focuses on a series of projects outside of the ring.

“If I do wrestle again, I’m gonna take this year to step outside of it,”

While expressing her desire to train with Natalya, she admitted she wasn’t giving wrestling her “entire all” during the last couple of years.

“I will be going to Natty’s [Natalya Neidhart’s] training school getting some reps under me so then when I do come back, I’m back to being how I wrestled before because I felt like I wasn’t giving it my entire all these past couple of years…

I know that I was frustrated with myself. I know I could be better than that. So I’m gonna go back and, like, relearn my life again.”
