Naomi and Jimmy Uso were seen fighting on multiple occasions during their appearance on Total Divas. The Glow confirmed in an interview with CBS that the relationship problems she was having with Big Jim on the show had an element of reality to them.

One of the major issues between the two was Jimmy’s desire to get married after being engaged for two years, while she continued to stall their plans because she wanted to focus on her career. The couple had a huge fight, documented on Total Divas, where Jimmy even questioned if the 37-year-old wanted to end their relationship.

Before a furious Jimmy Uso stormed out of the house with his packed bag, he warned his partner that her job would not be there for her forever, but he would.

You know what? If you was [sic] commited to me as you to this f***king job, we wouldn’t be sitting right here going through this sh*t again. That job, it won’t be here all the time, f**king I will if you f**king give me a chance.

Naomi Underwent Birth Control Procedure Behind Her Husband’s Back

On the May 4, 2014, episode of Total Divas, Naomi’s relationship with Jimmy Uso suffered another setback after the former Women’s World Champion underwent a birth control procedure behind her husband’s back.

Big Jim, who immediately wanted to start a family, was not entirely pleased with the discovery. The show featured Naomi having an emotional conversation with her husband backstage. The 37-year-old explained to him that, as a woman, she felt she had the right to do that to her body.

Naomi added that she knew she needed that procedure to ensure they did not have kids at the time. While Jimmy told her that he understood her point, he asked her what she would have done if he got a vasectomy behind her back. When she said that she would have killed him, he asked her to tell him next time because he wanted to be there for her.

The former Women’s World Champion then apologized to her husband for keeping her procedure a secret from him.

Jimmy Uso And Naomi Had A Run-In With The Law

In 2019, Jimmy Uso and Naomi were pulled over by police in Detroit. While The Glow was driving the vehicle in the wrong direction down a one-way street, it was Big Jim who got in trouble.

An intoxicated Jimmy exited the car, which strongly smelled of alcohol, against the officers’ instructions. He took off his shirt and attempted to square off with the police officers. Nevertheless, he was taken into custody without incident.

The former Tag Team Champion was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction and was released on bond. Meanwhile, his wife was let go.

In a statement issued to SI at the time, WWE emphasized that Jimmy Uso was responsible for his own actions.

Naomi Feared Her Marriage To Jimmy Uso Might End

On November 14, 2018, Naomi opened up about one of her biggest fears: getting divorced. The Glow claimed she had never seen a successful marriage on both sides of her family.

The former Women’s World Champion disclosed at the time that she was overwhelmed and felt she was losing herself in the relationship. She explained that while she wants to be with her husband for the rest of her life, she feared he might think she was selfish for doing a little more for herself after adopting a routine designed to make him happy.

It really does scare me. I wanna be with him for the rest of my life. But I’ve just been going through this routine in order for him to be happy. And I don’t want him to think I’m selfish for wanting to do a little more for myself.

Naomi And Jimmy Uso Struggled With Fertility Issues

During her latest appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, Naomi opened up about her struggles with fertility issues.

Before debuting on the main roster, The Glow had her right ovary removed. Years later, she underwent another procedure to have fibroids removed from her uterus. These procedures left the 37-year-old doubting she would ever conceive naturally.

It was more intense and severe than they thought it was initially, and just the healing and also a lot of scar tissue so that also affected…the ability, on top of being older, I’m 37 now, and on top of only having one ovary, we thought for sure that naturally, I couldn’t anymore.

The former Women’s World Champion and her husband explained on the podcast that they did not “proceed with caution” before she got pregnant because they did not think it was possible.

The WWE couple admirably overcame all these hard times, emerging with a stronger bond. With their first baby on the way, their relationship expected to grow ever stronger.
